River S.p.A. started manufacturing industrial thermostatic mixers for sanitaryware in 1980.
It has created a constantly increasing range of patented products and specialises in taps and fittings for public buildings, the disabled and large-scale kitchens.
In 1984 it took over Mingori & C of Brescello in the province of Reggio Emilia in northern Italy. This company is famous for its machines for bending both steel and copper piping.
 The company now occupies a 9000 square metre site, of which 7000 square metres are indoor.
The production facility has the latest transfer machines for automatically processing the brass pressings. The assembly department tests each single item manufactured at electronic test benches.
The technical office has Autocad and two state-of-the-art test rooms that enable manufacturing processes to be checked and improved and it also carries out research and development of new products.
River S.p.A. has branches throughout Italy and has its own sales network that supplies its products only to plumbing wholesalers.
Outside Italy, it has exclusive agents and distributors in over 42 countries.
River S.p.A.'s quality control system was registered to UNI EN ISO 9001:2000.
